I went to peep “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace” the second day it came out,(and boy was I dissapointed) during the previews I saw a petite teaser trailer for this film with Cale speaking while the Titan escapes the Earth’s destruction. I expected that Titan A.E. would be an all-CG film ala “Antz” or “Toy Account” so I was tantalizing. Later on I discovered that it would be a hand drawn engaging film combined with CG animation and effects. I grew even more fascinating, but I was a serious anime fan, and after seeing colossal stuff like “Akira,” “Bubblegum Crisis” and “Ghost in the Shell” I was convinced that I would never examine anything the least bit halt of quality arrive out of the U.S., I was in for a colossal surprise.
Titan A.E.(in which I went to scrutinize the first day of it’s release) turned out to be an awesome experience that was unbiased as enchanting as any anime I’ve seen. First of all the animation was simply astounding, the characters were the normal, well-drawn Don Bluth character designs which were salubrious, but the sincere star was the CG effects and animation that blended with the hand-drawn animation even BETTER than the anime,”Blue Submarine No. 6″ did. Plus, it was nothing like anything I’ve seen out of an American absorbing movie. No droll sidekicks(which is symbolized in one early scene in a comically violent scene) intense kick-ass music that perfectly complements the tense action and DOESN’T degenerate into a tiring, musical. And it contains a number of awesome, visually spectacular action scenes. From the fast- paced slide scene spirited spherical hydrogen trees to the final drag at the Ice Rings of Tegrin(Cale’s mosey with the Wake Angels was an awe-inspiring moment), Titan A.E. is a far roar from anything that Disney has establish out. But cynical and inflamed critics and moviegoers buried Titan A.E. and objective saw it as a “cartoon.” Which is a exact tragedy, cause Titan A.E. deserves a lot more recognition than it’s getting.
Overall, I really judge people should like this film for what it’s trying to be, a aged keen film that is really targeting teenagers and tries to avoid the “Disney” syndrome. Titan A.E. isn’t really a movie for children, it can be violent and has train that reaches the PG-13 rating.(which I earn even more refreshing) But overall, I can’t wait for this astounding movie to arrive out on DVD, and I hope that Fox puts plenty of misfortune into it and provides it with lots of extras. If you unprejudiced leave your cynicism at the door you will search for an awesome film. Titan A.E. is one of the best (and underated) films of the year, that’s even better than Disney’s “Dinosaur”. American Animation would prefer a turn for the better if there were more films such as this( and “The Iron Giant” which suffered the same fate.) But unfortunately after the results of the last two movies, that doesn’t seem very likely…
Ok, so the film bombed, and killed ANY chance to scrutinize another spectacular film like this from Fox Studios ever again. I hope it will obtain considerable more attention on DVD then it did in theatres. Hopefully it will also have alot of fun and icy features for the fans.

This movie shows that Disney isn’t the only ones with animation talent. But unlike Disney Fox isn’t timorous to market to an older audience. The characters are all very icy, with an unique space to boot! Some super status twists along the plot, and VERY VERY VERY chilly animation mixed BEAUTIFULLY with the best special effects you’ll ever witness in an engaging film. This movie wasn’t predictable, and kept me guessin HOW it was gonna all slay. The ending is a stretch of the imagination. I did observe someone converse how “impossible” it was. But this is science fiction! who cares! My only plight is that it ended too lickety-split, I would’ve enjoyed it even more had it been 2 hrs. The sing talents are mountainous, but at times unrecognizable (I didn’t know John Leguizamo was in it till I saw the credits.) I also wanna mention the AWESOME music! Its all rock and you’ll be moshing in your seat as it keeps the movie rolling along smoothly.
My accepted scene is when Matt Damons character is flying the ship along with the wake angels. That was pure gawk candy, and I can’t wait to look this movie again on video! I’ll be first in line to glean it on DVD! Method to go FOX! Too awful this movie will be the last of it’s kind.
